Company introduction
From battery fundamentals to complete energy systems.
ESSS Energy Group was initiated by a school-mates team from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2012. Based on the team’s deep understanding of lithium-ion battery cells and their materials, we designed our first Battery Management System (BMS), helping a well-known vehicle manufacturer improve the efficiency of its electric-vehicle power battery system.
In 2017, Dr. Zhang—one of the founding members of Emerson Network Energy’s Nanjing R&D center—joined the team to begin developing DC/AC solutions. This work shaped a product portfolio spanning solar hybrid inverters, micro-inverters, PCS, EMS, BMS, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and battery packs.
